Baltic Amber

Amber is fossilised tree resin which has been highly appreciated for its rich colour and natural beauty since Neolithic times. It can be fashioned in to a range of jewellery and numerous other decorative objects where it is appreciated for its uniqueness. Each individual piece contains some element of a time gone by, be it a piece of leaf, twig or insect trapped by the resin when it was formed. This makes it more than a piece of jewellery but a time capsule for eternity.

The Baltic region is home to the largest known deposit of amber, called Baltic amber and dating from 44 million years ago is where the majority of our amber is sourced. Although the term Baltic amber has largely become a generic term and refers to all amber. Other sources of Baltic Amber have been listed as coming from Poland and Russia.

Our range of amber jewellery comes largely from Poland and has been crafted into a range of stunning jewellery which we have had great pleasure in sourcing and hope you receive the same pleasure in wearing.
